What Is Not Included

Transparency is important. While the calculator price is real and honored in the vast majority of cases, there are certain items that are not automatically built into the number:

❌Wood Replacement

Necessary wood replacement cannot be determined until the existing roofing is removed. Extensive wood damage is relatively rare, and when needed, typically requires only 1–3 boards. For that reason, wood replacement is not built into the base calculator price.

❌Extra Layers of Existing Shingles

The calculator assumes one existing layer of shingles. If your home has two or three layers, additional tear-off costs may apply.

❌Building Permits

Most jurisdictions we work in do not require a permit for roof replacement (often referred to as reroofing). If a permit is required, that cost is not included in the calculator price.

❌Input Inaccuracy

❌Extenuating or Special Circumstances
